Groove Jones CEO Dale Carman is heading to Los Angeles this week to join the conversation about how AI is reshaping entertainment. On Thursday, October 15, 2026, he will participate in “Lights, Camera, Inference: AI and the Future of Film,” a panel scheduled for 4:15 p.m. PST at ENTERTAINMENT × TECH: NEW RENAISSANCE.

The event is part of LA Tech Week, presented by a16z (Andreessen Horowitz), which runs October 12–18. View the official LA Tech Week calendar.
Dale’s panel puts the creator economy at the center of the discussion, exploring how AI is changing the possibilities for creators and entertainment production. His participation brings Groove Jones into a gathering of artists, entertainment professionals, founders, and investors examining what culture might look, sound, and feel like next. Groove Jones won the 2025 AARON AWARD for Best AI Workflow for Production and will be focusing on how the company is leveraging these new tools.
Running from 1:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., the event combines afternoon panels with curated artworks, live demos, and emerging AI entertainment projects. Organizers also plan to showcase Groove Jones work between panels, giving attendees a chance to see examples alongside the conversations.
According to the organizers, RSVPs include people from Disney, Warner Bros., Amazon MGM Studios, and other entertainment and technology companies. After 7:00 p.m., the evening continues with live music, a DJ set, and networking.
