WPP Enterprise Solutions partnered with Groove Jones to create an AI-powered interactive activation for this year’s Adobe Summit that would capture attention, drive engagement, and showcase the potential of generative technology in a live event setting. The result was the Mantra Machine, a personalized photo-to-video experience that transformed attendees inputs into personalized mantra video.

At Adobe Summit, where innovation is everywhere, the experience needed to stand out instantly. It had to attract attendees on a crowded show floor while delivering something meaningful and memorable. Beyond visual appeal, the activation needed to create a personal connection and a social shareable take away. The result was a custom video, with lip-synced voice synthesis, that was personalized for the guest, not just a passive interaction.

Below is an example of the video that was sent to the guest before the left the activation. The video was rendered in the cloud using AWS and then a beautiful design email was sent to the guest.
Concept and Approach

Groove Jones designed and developed an AI-driven application that guided users through a short interactive journey before delivering a fully personalized video. By combining UX, real-time cloud processing, and generative AI, the team created an experience that felt both immediate and magical. The platform leveraged GrooveTech GenVFX pipeline and Personalization Engine technology to process and render content quickly enough for the live event environment. The Mantra Machine was designed to be fast, engaging, and deeply personal. Guests began by answering a short series of Martech and mantra-inspired questions on the device. Matras sound, word, or phrase repeated during meditation or yoga to focus the mind, calm mental chatter, and foster spiritual growth. It acts as an instrument to protect the mind from negativity and enhance concentration. These responses helped define a unique theme and generated a personalized mantra that would shape their final content.

Once complete, participants stepped in for a selfie. The system took a high-quality photo and instantly sent it to the cloud, where an AI engine transformed it into a dynamic, stylized video. Each output featured futuristic visuals, animated typography, and a thematic treatment tied directly to the user’s responses.

Within moments, guests received a custom 10-second video that felt tailored specifically to them. Guests could download and share their video across social platforms, extending the activation far beyond the event itself and amplifying brand visibility well beyond the show floor.

AI GenVFX Production for Promotional Video
Part of the production was to create a promotional video for socials to announce the WPP booth and the Mantra Machine experience. The Groove Jones team utilized our GenVFF pipeline to create the video. We used Krea nodes to help organize and generate the assets used in the video. Nano Banana 2 for keyframes and Veo 3.1 for video generation.

It was important to establish a character and environment reference to keep things consistent from shot to shot. Some additional comp work was needed for certain elements (the iPad). Making sure the start and end keyframes were clear and polished was very important, without this step the video generations would be very inconsistent.
The WPP team and key leaders posted the promotional video on their socials to announce their presence at the event. A special shot out to our work came from WPP’s Chief Executive Officer Cindy Rose. When WPP’s Global CEO calls your video “beautiful” you know you’re doing GREAT WORK!!!

Event Integration
We worked with Nth Degree Events on the fabrication design and user flow for the Mantra Machine experience. Groove Jones provided preconfigured hardware, installed the system onsite, and trained brand ambassadors on how to guide guests through the experience.

Reliable connectivity and cloud hosting ensured that the AI processing pipeline could handle demand throughout the event. Even with high participation, the system maintained a steady flow, with only minimal wait times during peak usage. Select videos of participants were dynamically pulled and then displayed on large screens around the activation footprint.

The Mantra Machine proved to be an example of how AI can transform event engagement into something personal and shareable. Attendees were not just interacting with a brand, they were becoming part of it. Each participant left with a unique piece of content that reflected their personality, encouraging organic sharing and repeat engagement.

By combining generative AI with thoughtful interaction design, Groove Jones helped Adobe and WPP Enterprise solutions create an activation that felt innovative, scalable, and deeply human, while setting a new standard for how personalized content can drive connection at live events.
